The fifth round of the South Swedish Cup for electric touring cars was held in Alvesta and hosted by the local club Wäxjö MS. There were two classes, 1:10th electric modified and stock. The track had both some technical and some faster sections. The race consisted of three rounds of qualifying and Markus Hellquist managed to win all of them in the modified class. A few seconds behind was Daniel Carlsson and seven seconds further behind was Oliver Olsson to round up the top three.

In the stock 17.5T class Henrik Jagadics managed to secure the TQ by winning all three rounds of qualifying as well, only leaving the second spot open for Johan Lennartsson to take. There were some tight racing for the third position on the grid, but the old veteran Johnny Karlsson managed to snatch it in the last qualifier from the very young and promising driver Mattis Järgren.

Moving into the finals in the modified class Markus Hellquist was pressured from Daniel Carlsson in the first out of the three finals, which would decide the winner of this race. But Markus Hellquist did not leave the door open for Daniel to get a clean pass and Markus kept his first place throughout the final. Oliver Olsson was unthreatened for the last podium position. Moving on to the second final Markus managed to get a small gap to second place Daniel in the early stages and made no room for Daniel to catch up. Markus won the second final and secured to overall race victory. Daniel finished second and Oliver Olsson once again placed himself in the third position. The last final had no effect on the top three at all.

The stock finals was a nice journey for Henrik Jagadics who managed to win the first two finals for the overall win. Second place would be a battle between Johan Lennartsson and Johnny Karlsson. It was decided in the last final were Johnny Karlsson managed snatch a win on the last lap ahead of Henrik Jagadics and that was enough for the second place overall leaving Johan Lennartsson third.
